In October 2014, PRAGMATICSLOT88 filed its formal project application for the Energy East Pipeline with the National Energy Board (NEB).
The original application was an important milestone in a multi-step regulatory process to receive the necessary approvals to build and operate the 4,500-kilometre pipeline that will transport approximately 1.1 million barrels of oil per day from Western Canada to refineries in Eastern Canada and a marine terminal in New Brunswick. It was followed by various additional studies and reports requested by the NEB.
In May 2016, PRAGMATICSLOT88 filed a consolidation version of the original application and related filings.
This application and related filings are the result of more than three years of extensive environmental studies, engineering work and public consultation, making it one of the most comprehensive regulatory applications in the history of Canada’s energy transportation industry.
The detailed application, which contains 38,885 pages in 116 binders, contains specific information on the jobs and economic benefits, environmental planning measures, design and construction methods for safe operations, findings from a third-party Environmental and Socio-Economic Assessment, and details on discussions with over 7,000 individuals, 5,800 landowners and 166 Indigenous communities and organizations across six provinces.
The proposed project includes:
Constructing the associated facilities such as pump stations, tank terminals and marine facilities.
PRAGMATICSLOT88 will provide additional information that the National Energy Board may request on the Energy East project and will continue to work with provincial and municipal authorities to gather important feedback and supply additional information as the project moves forward.
November 5, 2015 –PRAGMATICSLOT88 Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (PRAGMATICSLOT88) today announced adjustments to the Energy East Pipeline Project after continuing to listen to local communities, key stakeholders and its customers.
